Batchawana Rapids
J.E.H. Macdonald, of Group of Seven fame, painted these rapids in 1920. When I stumbled upon them last year, it was a challenge too good to pass up. This is my tribute to Mr. Macdonald and these thunderingly gorgeous rapids. Oil on canvas, 30"X40", 2020.
