Patrice Clarkson

While I have always had a passion for traditional art and design, my first career path actually lead me to advertising. Newly graduated from the Ontario College of Arts, I began working for multiple publishers, printers, and ad agencies, while also taking on the role of “in-house artist” at select businesses. I enjoyed being a designer and illustrator, but as my career advanced, drawing slowly faded from the forefront with my focus shifting to a steady pay-cheque rather than doing what I loved.

On vacation one summer, I decided to explore the option of Freelance Design, hoping that I’d be able to get back to creating the kind of art I love. I quit my full-time job, and acquired a few projects, signalling that another phase of my life was just beginning. Slowly, the work went from design and assembly, to illustration. This is when I began my true passion project: commissioned pet portraits.

This type of work feels like it’s not really work, but an extension of myself. It truly is the most rewarding experience. It allows me to be ever changing, and evolves my career into something of great passion and fulfillment. Return and Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
