Freddie Mercury of Queen. Captured here in his epic 1985 LiveAid performance as the only animal he would of wanted to be being the eccentric feline lover he was.
Our wood prints are printed on top-quality Canadian birch plywood using sustainable, water-based inks and mounted on a 1-inch or 1.5-inch frame. The surface is heat and water resistant, and easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
All wood prints are hand crafted in the Canada, and each piece's wood grain, texture, and minor imperfections make it truly unique.

Tony Taylor Art
I am an oil painter based in Toronto. After completing an MA in Painting at University of the Arts London in 2008 I further expanded on the body work I started there into what could be described as an obsession to portray public figures as animals that more accurately represent them.
I began my progression with politicians and economists talking at World Economic Forums, leading up to the Royal Family and a career as a full time since 2014.
My focus has shifted to painting icons from history, business, sports, music, and television but my compulsion to reinterpret people as animals, making people laugh and think remains the same.
The Art Process
My art begins by making an original oil painting, then scanning, printing on paper and transferring it with clear acrylic medium onto smaller limited edition wood panels. All signed and numbered on the back.
