Canoe Club (Island Series)
Summers on Toronto Island were THE best fun as a child. In the1960’s there was a summer program called Supervision. It was a day camp for the island kids. There was Boys Supervision and Girls Supervision. We did all kinds of sports, competitions, games, and activities. Every afternoon we spent on the beach, swimming, playing games and one of my favorite things was sand castle building contests. Our daily meeting place was at the Little Clubhouse. After the Supervision program closed, it became the home of the Island Canoe Club for several years.
