Lukian Glass

Ron and Gail Lukian, international award winning Canadian glass artists have owned and operated their studios in Rawdon, Quebec since 1972, producing hand blown and hand painted-enameled creations. Their many years of experience are reflected in the quality and refinement of their work and they have developed a style that is distinctly their own.

The Lukians are self taught in their respective mediums, Gail as a painter and Ron as a glassblower and they produce highly decorative perfume bottles, drinking vessels, bowls, vases, paperweight and ring holders.

They also make a line of smaller inexpensive pieces such as hanging decorations, bracelet buddies and spoon rests.

Ron does all the glass blowing using classic techniques. Gail mixes her own paint using powdered vitreous enamels with special oils and varnishes. This "paint" is then applied with a brush to the surface of the pieces. The pieces are then fired, melting the enamel to the surface of the glass making the decoration permanent.

They are always open and accepting ideas for commissions and custom work from their customers.
