Astica is a Latin term for 'located in a city'. This work is a playful landscape view of an imaginary city - both ancient and futuristic. Somewhat inspired by Dr. Suess, one of my favourite children's book authors. I would love to live in a crazy art tower…..like some of the current modern skyscrapers around the world. I wonder if these architects were influenced by Dr. Suess or the Hungarian artist Hundertwasser?
