A trip to Toronto's outer harbour marina in the off season finds boats of all sizes and colours up on frames for the repair and resurfacing hulls. This is one of my favourite places to explore the abstract designs etched into the fiberglass hulls that have been aged by the elements or sanded in preparation for a facelift.
