Hiking on the Bruce Trail at Driftwood Cove was the inspiration for me to do this Landscape. It was challenging do this piece because of the different layers that were presented to me. I had to deal with one layer at a time from the cliff face in the back, the trees, various coloured leaves, various textures on the rocks, cobble stones on the beach etc.
Fall brings out all the colours that we are familiar with, which I achieved with the use of various ink washes, coloured inks, Pen & Ink, and watercolour.
