About Ivan

Ivan Trotter has had a long and varied career as a Canadian artist. These new art assemblages are his latest works, combining his all his artistic skills and interests. 

For many years Ivan painted the Canadian landscape in 'Group of Seven' inspired oils. A love of France and her Mediterranean neighbours has in the past decade, turned his palette to vivid acrylics, better enabling him to capture and record his passion for Provencal and Tuscan villages.  

For the past seventeen years Ivan has marketed his work at over 400 exhibitions and shows across Canada and the US.  His paintings can be found currently worldwide in private and corporate collections.

A long time interest in leather as a hobby, recently inspired Ivan to start experimenting with jewelry for men.  Hence the birth of "Stone and Hide", unique creations designed and crafted by the artist.  After only a few short years, these works are being sought by various hip boutiques and artisan shows seeking quality Canadian crafted goods.
