Small Rubber Purse With Paracord Shoulder Strap

Small rubber purse with paracord shoulder strap rainbow colour green flower in leather  8 x 5 inches . 

Made by hand from recycled tire inner tubes collected at a tire shop near my town in Hawkesbury. All inner tubes are recycled material. I cut them in pieces so I can work with, scrub them, clean them, create them, hand sew them and polish them for the finishing. Not two are the same as tires are from different companies who produce them.

About GDC

Artist Ghislaine Descotes lives near Ottawa, ON in Hawkesbury. She currently has two lines of artistic creations: Recycled tractor tire inner tubes purses and accessories and handmade jewellery. Each piece is unique and one of a kind.

All purses can be duplicated but no two will be the same as they are created using recycled materials. Unique markings from some the companies who produce the tire may be visible, adding another interesting attribute to the piece. They may also have marks and scratches from how they were originally used. Most of my material comes from farm tractor tires. All stitching is done by hand.
