These earrings are made using borosilicate glass teadrop beads and sterling silver french earring clasps and jump rings.These lovely and unusual beads are 4mm wide in a hand-formed teardrop shape, with a 2mm hole. They are the mini version of the larger teardrop bead in a rusty red and grey stripe.
These beads are carefully and artfully handcrafted of borosilicate glass, the same durable glass as used to make Pyrex products.
Each bead is carefully made and annealed in a kiln at over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit which makes for a stronger more durable bead. The higher temperatures are also responsible for the rich natural colors characteristic of Unicorne glass beads I use. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these beads the color may vary slightly from the photo.
