These earrings are made using borosilicate glass disc beads and sterling silver french earring clasps and jump rings. These lovely and unusual beads are about 20mm , in a hand-formed disc shape, The have a mix of colours from mustard yellow to pale green, with a iridescent blue sheen to them
These beads are carefully and artfully handcrafted of borosilicate glass, the same durable glass as used to make Pyrex products.
Each bead is carefully made and annealed in a kiln at over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit which makes for a stronger more durable bead. The higher temperatures are also responsible for the rich natural colors characteristic of Unicorne glass beads I use. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these beads the color may vary slightly from the photo.
