We are a husband and wife duo living in Jordan, Ontario. We believe we have the best jobs in the world, and we hope to bring a smile to your face with everything we create. We constantly step on each other’s toes (literally) in our tiny studio space, but we love what we do. We have outgrown our little creative space three times over and keep building new “studios” to the yard. Our neighbours affectionately call us the “shed heads.”

I am a multidisciplinary artist working in wood, printmaking, leather and fibre. I love to share with others and teach workshops in my studio for macrame, weaving, sign painting and jewellery making. I also teach workshops at the Town of Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre, the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre and many wineries in the area.

My husband, Randy is my most valuable sidekick! He is the problem solver, display maker and gatherer of the unusual. We are mindful to create our products from quality materials. We source our raw materials from Canadian suppliers as close to home as possible. We pay close attention to how the use of our raw materials impact the environment and seek out suppliers that have a dedicated philosophy to protect our natural world.

Urban Nest Décor ships worldwide
All our products are made to order. Stock items are shipped within 1-2 weeks. Custom orders are shipped within 2-3 weeks. Depending on your order, it may be posted sooner. You may need to allow up to 4 weeks for shipping in our busy season (September – December).

PROCESSING TIME: The time needed to produce your order. All our products are handmade by us. Stock items are processed and posted within 1-2 weeks. Custom orders are processed and posted within 2-3 weeks. This is in addition to shipping times.

ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME: (based on Canada Post delivery standards)
Canada: 3 - 5 business days
United States: 5 - 6 business days
Europe: 2 - 4 weeks
Shipping times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed by us. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipper.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, CUSTOMS AND DUTIES FEES
Buyers are responsible for all customs and/or duties fees that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. If you have questions about shipping to your location, please contact us by email.


INSURANCE
Products will always leave our studio in excellent condition and carefully packaged. Orders up to
$100.00 are automatically covered by Canada Post for loss or damage if shipped with tracking. If you would like extra protection for loss or damage during shipping, please contact us directly to upgrade to include shipping insurance coverage.

Cancelling orders
We do not offer refunds on cancelled orders. However, we can offer a store credit for the value of the order. We do not offer cancellations on the following order types:
1) Customized/personalized items (including but not limited to color, name, quote)
2) Sale items
3) Digital downloads
4) Gift cards

Did we make a mistake? We are only human and occasionally off our game. If we have sent you the wrong item or misspelled a name, we will certainly send you a replacement. Just email us a picture of the item and the order number.
Returns and Exchanges
We gladly accept returns and exchanges on ready made stock items. Just contact us within 3 days of delivery for authorization. Ship returns back to us within 7 days of authorization. If 7 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN NOT BE RETURNED:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. For exchanges, buyers are also responsible for replacement shipping costs. Authorized returns require the item to be mailed in the original, unused condition with all
packing materials included. Tracking information must be purchased by you and provided to us when the item is sent. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We will refund your money (less original shipping fees) once we receive the return. Please do not send your purchase back without prior authorization. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).  Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our
