The Mouse and the Mushroom
This beautiful piece of fabric art was inspired by the renowned UK photographer, Dean Mason ( with permission) . This mouse portrait is also finished with a gorgeous wooden frame. The portrait is a combination of the use of applique and some watercolor. It measures 16 x 26 inches. All projects are handmade in Richmond Hill, Ontario. All portraits are hand drawn plans and are originals done by artist. (no patterns)

About Tamara
Tamara Patenaude was born in Montreal and studied at the University of Toronto. She is married to her high school sweetheart, has 2 loving sons and one crazy farm dog named Jasper. She taught visual arts during her teaching career and started portrait quilting in 2012. Her love for fabrics and texture is what drives her to create interesting details in her work. She has used her love for fabrics and texture to help her in creating other items at her shop.
