Nick and Holly are a creative duo on an art adventure. They are a team with skills
in art, design, colour theory and fabrication. They combine skills to design, create
and fabricate their handmade photo lightboxes. They like to mix old with new.
Holly is the photographer and colourist. Nick is the technician and fabricator.
Design work is shared. They also like adventure. Outings keep them sharp and
inspired.
They craft their handmade photo light boxes from new and reclaimed materials that can be wall mounted or sit on a table top. They also make suncatchers that are photography mounted on glass set in handmade or reclaimed picture frames and photo nightlights that contain one of a kind images. The backs were designed by Nick and laser cut by Maker Bean Cafe in Toronto based on his design. As well, they make handmade mirror boxes with original photography. The images start to have 3D qualities at certain angles and change with available light.
