Richenda Ellis

Richenda Ellis is a Canadian based visual artist. Her work in pen and ink, lino printing, needle-felt, and sculpture has been exhibited and sold widely. Originally from England, she has called Canada home since 2007. 

Richenda has had a diverse life, which has included working as a nurse for the British Royal Navy, co-owning a farm, and raising a family. Many of these experiences have helped inspire her art – some, as you will see, more than others!

Richenda creates one-off pieces of artwork in several media. Her repertoire includes Pen and ink drawing with a humorous twist, shopping bags with personally stitched designs from her own artwork, cheerful needle-felted textile pictures, wire sculpture of animals, and greetings cards for all occasions.
