Hand made fused glass floral design art plaque tea light. I created this piece in my studio in Peterborough, Ontario utilizing my signature approach incorporating liquid, crushed, hand cut and hand pulled shards of molten glass. Once created the design is fused in a kiln at least twice at approximately 1400 degrees for 8-10 hours to capture the depth, texture and brilliance.  

The are plaque measures approximately 3" x 4 1/2" and looks amazing used as decor both in daylight and at night with a candle in the attached tea light holder. It has been tested to adhere to the heat from a tea light but not a larger candle. 

Great “little gift” for someone special or as a treat for yourself.

I make fused glass art.  Over the past 5 years I have developed a unique technique using liquid, crushed, powder and hand pulled shards of molten glass to create dynamic 3-dimensional artwork.  My collection is eclectic.  My inspiration come primarily from the beauty and ruggedness of nature, but you will also find a number of other surprising design approaches as well.
