About Nancy Sendell
I have been an amateur photographer since I was a teen. Walking a trail or kayaking the waterways I try to capture the spirit of the place with my camera. The infinite wonders of colour and patterns to be found never gets old.
I’ve inherited my mother’s passion for working with textiles and in 2016 I began to combine these two passions by making accessories with my images on silk and cotton. Most of my designs reflect the colours and textures I find in and around Ontario from Niagara to the Rideau Lakes and north to Algonquin Park.
As much as possible I stay true to the original image with only slight alterations to prep them for printing. It’s the spirit of nature that I try to capture and deliver to my customers stylings.
As a designer I believe that art need not be confined to walls. I am especially interested in doing custom work so if you have something in mind, send me an email and we can discuss.
